We are seeking a therapeutic riding instructor to join our team. This role will be responsible for teaching clients and caring for the horses, as well as working closely with our volunteers.
Requirements:
- minimum 2 years experience working with horses
- minimum 1 year experience working with children and/or adults with disabilities and special needs
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit individual learning styles
- capable of lifting up to 70lbs.
Responsibilities:
- teach lessons to clients
- create lesson plans based on clients goals as well as lesson notes
- care for the horses (grooming, exercising, tacking up etc.)
- create a safe and engaging environment for each individual
- collaborate with volunteers and the team to provide a fun and upbeat atmosphere

- 4 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Holidays
- Weekends as needed
