General Duties:
- Implement and oversee training programs related to systems, orientations, product rollouts, and general resort operations.
- Facilitate classroom training sessions, ensuring engagement and knowledge retention among associates.
- Monitor and support the Training Coordinator in executing daily training responsibilities.
- Ensure training records and documentation are compliant with company policy.
- Develop, create and manage training content, utilizing Adobe Suite, UKG and Microsoft 365.
- Collaborate with various departments to assess training needs and deliver appropriate learning solutions.
- Identify, evaluate, and manage relationships with external training vendors and resources.
- Assist with training program budgeting, tracking expenses, and ensuring cost-effective training solutions are implemented.
- Support and enhance performance management initiatives and associate recognition programs.
- Design and maintain digital and analog training materials, presentations, and recognition programs.
- Schedule training sessions, ensuring appropriate meeting space and audio/visual requirements are met.
- Conduct associate focus groups and facilitate engagement meetings as needed.
- Maintain a high level of confidentiality regarding training and associate records.
- Perform other training and HR duties as assigned.
Employment standards:
- Minimum one year’s experience in Training, Human Resources, Hospitality, or a related field.
- Prior experience in training and development in the hospitality industry preferred.
- Strong facilitation, communication and presentation skills.
- Experience with learning management systems a plus.
- Strong business acumen and ability to manage training budgets.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), UKG and Adobe Suite.
- Ability to engage with individuals at all levels of the organization.
- Bilingual in Spanish a plus.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Physical & Mental Requirements:
- Moderate lifting and carrying, 15-25 pounds.
- Able to bend, stoop, reach and stretch repetitively.
- Must have normal vision with corrective lens.
- Sit for extended periods of time.
- Can stand for extended periods of time.
- Walk as a daily routine.
- Communicate effectively with general public.
