Irrigation Specialist

Horticulture Services is currently accepting applications for our Irrigation Specialist position. The primary purpose of this position is to startup, repair, and inspect spring systems. Specific Details

• Pay starts at $22.00; a higher pay rate is available with relevant experience.
• We work Monday-Friday starting at 7:00 am (length of the day varies based on the weather & job).
• The typical workweek is 40 hours w/ overtime pay available.
• There is a potential for weekend/holiday work.
  
  

Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To

• Work independently maintaining and repairing irrigation systems in an efficient and professional manner.
• Operate commercial vehicle in a safe, professional manner and in accordance to DOT and company standards.
• Exhibit the company’s core values to both clients and other employees.
• Develop professional knowledge through tradeshows and conferences, and internal educational sessions.
• Perform snow removal duties in winter.
  
  

Requirements Include, But Are Not Limited To

• Keep detailed records of irrigation repairs.
• The ability to think mechanically and use fine motor skills.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.
• Ability to actively work on feet for the entire day.
• Ability to work independently, use strong time management skills, and the ability to communicate effectively.
• A valid driver's license and willingness to complete driver qualification (Pass a DOT physical with a clean drug test).
