Overview

Duties
- Assist attorneys in the preparation of legal documents and case files for litigation.
- Maintain direct contact with clients.
- Manage legal case files using Document Management Systems to ensure all documents are organized and accessible.
- Perform data entry tasks accurately to maintain up-to-date records.
- Proofread legal documents for accuracy and compliance with legal standards.
- Coordinate with clients, witnesses, and experts to gather necessary information for cases.
- Support project management efforts by tracking deadlines and ensuring timely completion of tasks.
- Maintain communication with court personnel regarding filings and hearings.
Qualifications
- Proven experience working in a law office or similar environment is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
- Familiarity with Family Law and Personal Injury Law is highly desirable.
- Strong skills in legal case management and document management systems.
- Excellent data entry skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Proficient in proofreading to ensure high-quality documentation.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
