The BIM Coordinator will be responsible for taking already developed mechanical designs and organizing them in a way that fits the space provided, meets the specifications and budget, provides a code compliant functional system and can be used to create installation drawings for field use.
Key Responsibilities
- Working within Revit and Navisworks extensively
- Developing plans for permit and field installation using industry installation means and methods
- Reading through and checking equipment and material submittals
- Help meet or beat budget on jobs you are working on
Skills & Experience
- Revit, Navisworks, Spatial Coordination with trades we install and aware of other trades needs (i.e. Electrical, Fire Protection, Structural).
- Ability to travel to jobsites as required. The majority of work is within a 50-mile radius of the Twin Cities.
- 1-5 years of experience in a related field
