Resposibilities:
- Lead the creation and management of detailed 3D BIM models for MEP Services.
- Ensure proper integration and coordination of plumbing models with other building systems (MEP, structural, architectural) through clash detection and conflict resolution.
- Produce detailed drawings, schematics, and material schedules as required.
- Provide technical expertise in plumbing design, including the selection and specification of materials, fittings, fixtures, and equipment.
- Review plumbing design calculations, layouts, and specifications to ensure compliance with local codes, regulations, and industry best practices.
- Lead the preparation and submission of design deliverables, such as design reports, shop drawings, and coordination documentation.
- Ensure all plumbing designs meet local building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
- Perform quality control checks on designs and drawings to maintain the highest standards of accuracy and precision.
- Mentor junior BIM engineers and support their development in the use of BIM tools and plumbing design best practices.
- Provide leadership and guidance to the team to resolve complex design and coordination challenges.
- Utilize BIM software (e.g., Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, etc.) to produce and manage plumbing system designs.
- Implement advanced BIM workflows, including parametric modelling, clash detection, and system simulations.
