What are the responsibilities and job description for the Church Pianist position at Hosanna Lutheran Church?
Overview
We are a small church in the rural town of Grand Rapids, OH and are looking for a pianist to play at our Sunday 10:45AM worship services.
The pianist is responsible for performing a short prelude (3-5 minutes), 3 hymns (as chosen by the pastor), and the liturgy, as well as special music for holidays (e.g., Easter, Christmas Eve).
We are ideally looking for someone to fill this role on a long-term basis. Prior experience as a church musician is not required, but preferable.
