POSITION SUMMARY
The Electrical Technician will build, troubleshoot, repair and maintain electrical control and automation equipment used in the manufacturing of company products.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Basic control and power wiring from schematics
Troubleshoot, build, and repair electrical equipment and controls
Verify safe reliable machine operation
Complete assigned projects with supervision
Handle confidential information on a regular basis
Perform other duties as directed by the Machine Engineering Supervisor and / or the Lead Electrical Engineer
QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma with a minimum of 5 years of experience; or post-secondary training with 1 -2 years of experience
Electrical troubleshooting skills
Read and follow electrical schematics
Good basic math skills
Ability to meet deadlines
Ability to work flexible hours and overtime as required
Ability to use computer and software as required
