POSITION SUMMARY
The Facilities Manager is responsible for building and grounds maintenance, facility housekeeping, continuous improvement initiatives, & vendor relations.
PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Regular building maintenance and repairs
- Supervise & develop building and grounds employees
- Identify & realize cost improvement opportunities
- Vendors relationships to maximize value & mitigate risk to the company
- Remodeling / expansion projects of the building.
- Maintain the aesthetics and cleanliness of the facility (interior and exterior)
- Manage and direct the cleaning activities
- Maintain a safe environment for building occupants and visitors
- Conduct regular building inspections and prepare reports
- Ensure facility complies with applicable policies, regulations, building codes and expectations
- Hire and discipline all department employees
- Develop employees through performance management system and career path or development plans
- Resolve personnel issues and / or conflicts
- Open and close building as required
- Other duties as assigned.
