What are the responsibilities and job description for the Machine Operator position at Hose Master?
Hose Master is looking for mechanically inclined machine operator who can set up, trouble shoot, and tear down machines. We build all machines in house, and we will provide on the job training to ensure success and compliance.
We have three available shifts:
1st Shift: 7:00AM - 5:30PM, Monday-Thursday
3rd Shift: 7:30PM - 6:00AM, Monday-Thursday
Weekend Shift: 6:00AM - 6:30PM, Friday-Sunday
PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Setup machine for any application.
Run machine according to procedures.
Complete all production logs/forms.
Complete all quality logs/forms.
Diagnose problems with machine and troubleshoot if necessary
Inspect product for quality assurance purposes
Ability to react to change productively and handle other essential tasks as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to understand and follow English instructions.
Good basic math and mechanical skills.
Manufacturing experience preferred, but not required
Ability to read a measuring tape

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds; push/pull up to 50 pounds; transfer 20 - 100 pounds with the help of another person.
Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
Must be able to bend, squat, twist and kneel.
Good hearing and vision.
Ability to use hand tools.
Must be able to work a minimum of 40 hours per week.
