Job Overview:
The Staff Accountant will be tasked with handling a variety of accounting responsibilities, including responding to queries from various operational areas, evaluating their impact on the financial statements, and ensuring accurate financial records. This position is an integral part of period and quarterly closes, including financial reporting.
Staff Accountant Duties:
- Support monthly close process for 3 companies
- Daily banking and cash reconciliation
- Cross train and support AP, AR, and payroll
- Reconcile Bank Statements
- Account reconciliations
- Perform various other duties and special projects
- Assist with external auditors and J-Sox Analysis
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting
- 3 years of accounting experience
- 3 years of Advanced Excel knowledge
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1 years of Manufacturing accounting
- 1 years of ERP experience
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to constantly remain in a stationary position, while working at a desk
