Job Summary
This position is responsible for overseeing warehouse operations, supervising personnel, and ensuring efficient inventory management. This role requires strong leadership, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will possess a high level of organizational and time management skills while maintaining professionalism and adherence to company policies.
JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Supervise warehouse staff, oversee daily operations, and ensure policy compliance.
- Assist with hiring, training, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions.
- Develop work schedules, approve time-off requests, and ensure proper coverage.
- Address performance issues and provide coaching as needed.
- Maintain accessibility for staff during operating hours, after-hours, and emergencies.
- Plan and optimize warehouse layout for efficiency and space utilization.
- Oversee receiving, storing, and distributing inventory while ensuring compliance.
- Resolve discrepancies related to inventory, shipments, and operational concerns.
- Ensure company vehicles are properly maintained for safe and efficient use.
- Utilize software for reporting, documentation, and inventory tracking.
- Analyze data, prepare reports, and interpret business policies and regulations.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, company policies, and government regulations.
- Maintain professionalism and uphold the companys mission and values.
- Participate in on-call rotations and assist with deliveries as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Education:
- High School diploma or equivalent
Work Experience:
- Prior experience in a DME and/or Warehouse management
Special Skills:
- Be able to follow directions, read a roadmap/GPS and schedule home/facility deliveries.
- Ability to use computer, calculator, and smartphone applications.
- Ability to sit, stand, or operate a vehicle for long periods of time.
- Comfortable driving in all weather conditions day or night
- Capable of safely lifting up to 100 lbs.
Other Requirements:
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Must possess a current, valid Drivers License and provide evidence of a good driving record.
- Must have effective verbal and written communication skills and techniques with facilities, patients, families, office staff, and physicians.
