Salary Range: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00
Description
Essential Functions:
- Provide oversight regarding the coordination and evaluation of all services provided by the Retreat at Quarters Lake.
- The Manager is an active formal mentor and supervisor to other grief care staff and volunteers, providing support, teaching, and guidance.
- Responsible for collecting community feedback data, assessing productivity and service delivery of the counseling staff; ultimately impacting the client experience at The Retreat.
- Work with community partners, managing the services provided on the grounds of The Retreat, ensuring that the quality and values align with The Hospice of Baton Rouge.
- Assist with grant writing, budget development, and securing additional funding for the program.
- Participate in providing services at The Retreat including client navigation of resources and services, leading group activities, and creating content for use during the services.
- Collaborate with the Director of Business Development and the CEO of The Hospice of Baton Rouge in the daily operations and in setting the strategic priorities of The Retreat.
- Collaborate closely with the Volunteer Coordinator on training and evaluating volunteers to ensure that all needs are being met at The Retreat.
- Establish annual goals for the grief care programs consistent with the overall strategic plan of the agency.
- Initiate and develop continuous quality improvement procedures and tools to ensure ongoing highest standard of care for all clients and families.
- Serve as a resource to clinical staff within The Hospice of Baton Rouge and the community about grief.
- Develop and coordinate bereavement groups, retreats, and workshops.
Qualifications
Licensure:
- Required to have one of the following credentials:
- Licensed in the State of Louisiana in one of the following
- Social Work (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC, LPC-S), Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
- Licensed in the State of Louisiana in one of the following
Skills:
- Minimum of three (3) years paid clinical experience and two (2) years paid experience in human services administration preferred
- At least one year of social work/counseling experience specifically with grief
- Previous experience in the strategic design and implementation of human service programs and proven ability to manage these programs for quality and cost effectiveness preferred
- Previous experience in grant procurement and management preferred.
