Looking for an RN, Admission Nurse- Full-Time - 10 hours shift (30 hours per week)
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Admission Nurse is available to do admissions at the patient's home, hospital, board and care or skilled nursing facility. The Admission Nurse performs evaluations for appropriateness for hospice services and initiates the admission process. He/she will educate and inform patient/family of hospice and its services and obtain informed consents. The Admission RN participates in the implementation of clinical policies and procedures; and carries out the organization's purposes in a manner consistent with the goals, objectives, and established policies.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
BSN preferred but not required
Credentials:
Current CA RN License
Experience:
Minimum of one-year experience in health care management. Previous hospice experience preferred.
Core Competencies:
Knowledgeable about basic general office procedures practices and equipment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Windows 11 operating system.
Ability to handle multiple demands, frequent interruptions and to prioritize work assignments.
Ability to communicate effectively and work well with others maintaining a positive attitude.
