We are seeking a dedicated Hospice RN Specialist to join our team at Hospice Of Virginia – an Addus family company.
The estimated salary for this role is $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience.
About the Job:
- This position requires a licensed registered nurse with current CPR and First Aid Certification.
- You will be responsible for supervising and documenting delivery of care by the Home Health Aide as required by Federal, State, and Company guidelines.
- Maintain accurate patient records, charts, progress notes, reports, and prepare care plans timely.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assume primary responsibility for patient and family caseload, including the assessment, determining eligibility, admission processing, planning, implementation, and evaluation phases of the nursing process.
- Perform clinical pronouncement of death and provide support to the family.
Qualifications:
- Graduate from an accredited registered nursing program
- Licensed as a registered nurse in the state of practice
- Valid driver's license and proof of insurance
