What are the responsibilities and job description for the Manager, Emergency Management position at Hospital Sisters Health System?
The Manager-Emergency Management is primarily responsible for ensuring the implementation of Emergency Management Programs. Maintains a safe and hazard-free environment for patients, visitors, and staff and assure standards are met for all Federal, State, and local regulatory agencies, including management of emergency management program. Assists in oversight and leadership within the hospital.
Qualifications
Education
Bachelors degree in Nursing, Emergency Medical Services, Business, Accounting, or Criminal Justice is preferred.
In lieu of a bachelors degree, Associates degree in Nursing, Emergency Medical Services, Business, Accounting, Criminal Justice or related field is required plus 3 years Emergency Medical Services experience OR High School Diploma/ GED plus 5 years of experience as a Registered Nurse, Police Officer, Fire Fighter, Paramedic, or similar relevant occupation is required.
Experience
3 years of experience in Emergency Services is required.
3 years supervisory/ team lead experience OR 3 years of demonstrated leadership experience is required.
Certifications, Licenses and Registrations
Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN), Paramedic (EMT-P) in state of practice is preferred.
