What are the responsibilities and job description for the Patient Care Assistant position at Hospital Sisters Health System?
- Department: Inpatient Rehab
- Schedule: Part time, 16 hrs/wk, Evening Shift - 3pm-11pm and every other weekend

Performs or assists with patient care utilizing the nursing process under the supervision of a registered nurse preceptor. Provides care for patients of all ages according to the standards of care specific to the individual's needs.
Qualifications
Education
High School Diploma or GED is preferred.
Experience
1 year of experience in acute care setting is preferred.
Certifications, Licenses and Registrations
CNA (Certified Nurse Assistant) or PCT (Patient Care Technician) certification in state of practice is preferred.
BLS (Basic Life Support) is required within 30 days upon hire.
