Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner - Mental Health - HSHS Medical Group - Effingham, IL
HSHS Medical Group is recruiting an additional BC Mental Health Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join their growing mental health team in Effingham, IL. HSHS Medical Group works in partnership with Hospital Sisters Health System.
Position Requirements
- Provide Mental Health Services within RHC Primary Care Clinic.
- Unrestricted Illinois license prior to start.
- Psychiatric Mental Health Board Certified prior to start
- Experience as a Mental Health provider is preferred, but is not required.
Position Details
- Monday - Friday weekly schedule
- No Call Rotation, Weekends, or Holidays.
- EPIC EMR
- Private office with designated support staff.
- Built-in referral base from local primary care providers
Compensation & Benefits Package
- Set base salary

Qualifications
Education
Master’s degree in Nursing is required.
Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing PLUS 5 years relevant experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
Doctoral degree in Nursing is preferred.
Experience
Experience in management of patients across the care continuum preferred.
Certifications, Licenses and Registrations
Licensed in the state of practice as Advanced Practice Registered Nurse is required.
Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services (WDSPS) or Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR)
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
Board certification from the National Certification Corporation is preferred.
Controlled Substance license in state of practice is preferred.
Federal DEA license is preferred.
Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification is preferred.
