HSHS Medical Group is recruiting a BE/BC orthopedic surgeon to join our established, growing orthopedic practice in Effingham, Illinois. HSHS Medical Group is a multispecialty medical group made up of over 350 providers across 60 clinics throughout central and southern Illinois inclusive of a robust primary care referral base supporting our orthopedic practices. Position Details:
- Monday – Friday clinic schedule with option of 4 day work week
- 7 days per month of call
- Minimal after hours clinic call
- EPIC EMR
- Dedicated RN First Assist who will also be in your dedicated RN in clinic
- Robotics available for surgical cases
Position Requirements:
- Unrestricted Illinois license prior to start
- Board Certified or Board Eligible, American Board of Orthopedic Surgery
- M.D., D.O., or professional equivalent degree
Qualifications
Education
Clinical doctorate is required
Experience
Competence in delivery of healthcare services for adolescents, adults and geriatric patients is required
Certifications, Licenses and RegistrationsLicensed physician in the state of practice is required
Basic Life Support (BLS) is required
Maintain a Controlled Substance license for the state and Federal DEA, when applicable to their specialty
Must have successfully completed, or in the process of completing, an accredited residency program
Must be board certified or board eligible
