Position: Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant, Hospitalist Medicine
Shift: Night Shift, 4-10 hour shifts (7p-5a or 9p-7a), with weekend rotation
Experience:
1. Two (2) years’ experience as physician assistant, Nurse Practitioner or Board eligible graduate preferred.
2. Demonstrated ability to work independently in an interdisciplinary environment.
3. Minimum of 2 years Nursing experience in Inpatient Medicine preferred.
Education:
1. Bachelor of Science degree or more in a physical science required.
2. Must be a graduate of an accredited physician assistant/surgical assistant program.
3. Completion of a Nurse Practitioner program required.
4. MSN Required.
Licensures/Certifications:
1. Must be certified or new graduate who is eligible for certification by the NCCPA (National Commission for Certification of Physician Assistants). Active license with Pennsylvania State Board of Medical Education and Licensure's certification required.
2. Licensed by the Pennsylvania State Board of Nursing Examiners as a Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner
3. ACLS certification preferred.
4. May require PALS.
5. Provider BLS (American Heart Assoc/American Red Cross) required.
6. Successful completion of the MLH credentialing process through the Medical Staff office, with temporary or permanent privileges approved.
Salary : $106,829 - $166,650
