About The Job
Job Title: Event Venue Sales Manager
We are looking for a dynamic and proactive sales-driven Event Venue Sales Manager to lead efforts to sell our venue and event packages. This role focuses on promoting our venue to potential clients, selling event and event packages, and ensuring that our offerings meet the unique needs of each client. If you have a strong passion for hospitality, excellent sales skills, and an ability to market and sell, this position is for you!

Key Responsibilities
Venue Sales and Promotion:
- Actively sell and promote the event venue for a variety of functions, including weddings, corporate events, social gatherings, and more.
- Provide personalized tours of the venue to prospective clients, showcasing the space, amenities, and services offered.
- Respond to inquiries promptly, offering detailed information about venue availability, pricing, and event possibilities.
- Build and maintain a robust pipeline of prospective clients through outbound sales efforts, referrals, and strategic marketing.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and event terms to close sales, ensuring profitability while meeting client expectations.
- Develop promotional strategies to increase bookings, including special packages, seasonal offers, and targeted campaigns.
- Sell and promote a variety of catering packages, tailored to meet client preferences and event types.
- Provide detailed catering proposals and pricing that align with client budgets and expectations.
- Excellent product knowledge to confidently sell and answer initial client’s questions of food and beverage.
- Collaborate with the leadership team to create compelling content for online and offline promotions, including social media posts, emails, and advertisements.
- Develop and implement marketing campaigns to attract new clients, increase venue visibility, and drive sales of catering packages.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify new sales opportunities and adjust marketing strategies accordingly.
- Manage client expectations and ensure smooth coordination between sales, catering, and event operations teams.
- Track and report on sales goals, conversion rates, and revenue from venue bookings and catering packages.
- Analyze sales data to adjust strategies and improve conversion rates.
- Collaborate with management to set pricing strategies and sales targets.
- Proven experience in venue sales, catering sales, event planning, or a related field (2-4 years preferred).
- Strong sales and negotiation skills, with the ability to close deals and meet sales targets.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with clients and vendors.
- Solid understanding of catering offerings and the ability to recommend customized solutions.
- Proficiency in Google Workspace, CRM tools, and event management software.
- Creative thinking and an ability to devise marketing strategies to promote the venue and its services.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple leads and events at once.
- Flexible working hours, with evening and weekend availability required based on event schedules.
- Ability to be on-site for client tours, events, and venue promotion.
- Occasional travel for industry events, networking, or promotional activities.
- Compensation is a combination of base salary and commission.
- Base salaries range between $45k to $60k plus venue food and beverage commission. (DOE).
