I'm looking for a HR Superstar to lead a stunning independent luxury hotel in Charleston SC as the new Director of People & Culture. This individual will lead initiatives that foster employee engagement, uphold 'brand' values, and ensure exceptional teammate and guest experiences. The Director of People and Culture will oversee the HR Team (of 2) and lead the routine functions
of the department including hiring and interviewing candidates, administering pay, benefits, and leave, enforcing company policies and practices, and creating a culture of learning and development.
This individual must have a minimum of 10 years of combined operations experience HR leadership experience in a luxury hotel environment.

Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Director of People & Culture in Charleston, SC. The Director will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources, talent acquisition, employee relations, and organizational culture. They will develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and programs to attract, retain, and develop top talent.
Qualifications
- HR Strategy Development, Talent Acquisition, and Employee Relations skills
- Organizational Culture Development and Implementation experience
- Knowledge of HR policies, programs, and best practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong leadership and decision-making abilities
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus
