Catering and Events Sales Leader Qualifications
Catering Sales and Catering skills
Event Sales
Experience in Food & Beverage and Sales
Strong Customer Service skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to multitask and work under pressure
Organizational and leadership abilities
Experience in event planning and management
Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field
Catering and Events Sales Leader Duties :
Develop, drive and lead new catering and event sales
Plan, organize, and execute catering events from small gatherings to large banquets
Develop and maintain relationships with clients to understand their needs and preferences
Coordinate with culinary team to design menus that meet clients' expectations
Create and implement effective marketing strategies to promote catering services
Negotiate contracts with vendors and suppliers for the best pricing
Upsell additional services to maximize revenue opportunities
Catering and Events Sales Leader Experience :
Proven experience in sales in the catering space
Strong budgeting skills with the ability to meet financial targets
Exceptional guest service orientation with a focus on exceeding client expectations
Excellent time management skills to handle multiple events simultaneously
Knowledge of banquet service standards and best practices
Ability to communicate effectively with clients, staff, and vendors
Experience in event marketing within the restaurant or hospitality industry is a plus
