Position Overview: Host & Home is seeking a motivated and results-driven Business Development Agent to expand our portfolio of vacation rental properties. This role involves identifying, prospecting, and converting new homeowners into clients while ensuring a seamless transition through the onboarding process. The Business Development Agent will collaborate closely with our onboarding and owner relations teams to set new owners up for long-term success.
This position offers a base salary plus commission structure, rewarding high performers with unlimited earning potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prospecting & Lead Generation: Identify and engage potential vacation rental property owners through networking, direct outreach, and marketing initiatives.
- Sales & Consultation: Conduct property evaluations, explain Host & Home’s value proposition, and guide homeowners through the decision-making process.
- Contract Negotiation: Present and finalize management agreements with new owners, ensuring all expectations are clearly outlined.
- Collaboration with Onboarding & Owner Relations: Work closely with internal teams to facilitate a smooth transition for new owners, ensuring their properties are set up for success.
- Market Analysis: Stay informed about market trends, competitors, and pricing strategies to position Host & Home effectively.
- Pipeline Management: Maintain and track leads, prospects, and conversions using CRM tools to ensure timely follow-ups and goal attainment.
- Owner Support Post-Onboarding: Maintain relationships with new owners after onboarding to ensure satisfaction and continued growth.
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven track record in sales, business development, or real estate (vacation rental experience is a plus but not required).
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and meet aggressive growth targets.
- Familiarity with vacation rental management, property investments, or hospitality is a strong advantage.
- Experience using CRM software and sales tracking tools.
- Ability to collaborate across departments and contribute to a fast-growing team.
- Passion for hospitality, real estate, and delivering an exceptional owner experience.
