Commercial Roofing Superintendent Hostetler Roofing

Responsibilities:

- Maintain job site records, daily reports, delay requests and weather reports as required.

- Monitor job progress and control costs, take photos and insert into the company cam system.

- Resolving problems and issues that may arise-includes both technical and contractual.

-Provide support to the construction manager as required for materials, schedule, and cost information.

-Prepare estimates for minor change orders. Provide information/support to estimators for major changes orders.

-Maintain a change order status log. Keep Accounts Receivables informed of all pending and approved change orders.

-Attend daily department team meetings; and weekly scheduling meetings, if applicable.

-Extensive experience in the design, construction, and current codes applicable to roofing.

-Serve as on site customer service representative through duration of job completion.

Qualifications:

- 2 years of experience in the commercial roofing industry.

- Demonstrated extensive knowledge of roofing cost estimating, scheduling, budgeting/cost control, and field supervision.

- Knowledge of various roofing systems and materials, their characteristics, installation procedures, and tolerances.

- Must work well independently and have the ability to prioritize.

- Bi-Lingual (English/Spanish preferred but not required.)

Summary

As a Commercial Roofing Superintendent, you will oversee roofing projects from start to finish, ensuring quality and safety standards are met. Reporting to the Project Manager, your role involves supervising crews, managing budgets, and controlling costs while utilizing your expertise in construction estimating. Bilingual in English and Spanish, you will facilitate communication on-site and ensure that all team members understand project specifications. Your core skills in roofing and construction, combined with relevant abilities in blueprint reading and heavy lifting, will be essential in delivering successful roofing solutions.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 55 per week
