We’re on the lookout for a passionate, creative, and trend-savvy Content Creator to join our marketing team. This part-time position is perfect for someone just starting out in content creation who lives and breathes social media, loves connecting with the community, and thrives in a high-energy wellness space.
Job responsibilities fall within the following buckets:
Content Creation & Production
- Visit our studios regularly to film content and capture the Hot 8 energy
- Cover in-person events like teacher training graduations, workshops, pop-ups, and community happenings
- Film, edit, and produce short-form video content (Reels, TikToks, Stories, etc.)
- Film and edit engaging organic content and occasional paid content for ads
- Build hype and community excitement around our 3x/year 30 Day Challenge with countdowns, testimonials, progress updates, and celebratory content
Social Media Management
- Stay ahead of TikTok and Instagram trends and implement timely content ideas
- Help us stay relevant by spotting and jumping on trends quickly (memes, sounds, viral formats, etc.)
- Respond to DMs, comments, and tags in our brand voice
- Plan and schedule content across platforms using social media tools
- Maintain a consistent posting calendar to drive engagement and growth
Strategy & Optimization
- Develop creative content strategies aligned with our brand voice and community vibe
- Collaborate on ideas for high-performing social campaigns
- Track analytics to see what’s working and optimize content accordingly
- Regularly report insights and suggest ways to elevate our content game
Ideal Candidates
- A creative mind with a passion for wellness, fitness, and community
- Proficiency in video editing apps (CapCut, InShot, Adobe Rush, etc.)
- Strong aesthetic eye — you get what looks good and what feels on brand
- Fun, warm communication style that reflects the Hot 8 vibe
- Obsessed with trends and always in the loop on what’s popping
- Comfortable being in the field and interacting with people while filming
- Detail-oriented with a good eye for aesthetic, lighting, and flow
- A proactive self-starter who’s organized, adaptable, and excited to grow
- Able to work flexible hours (some evenings/weekends for events & filming)

Location: Los Angeles, CA
Compensation: $24/Hour
Schedule: Flexible, with occasional weekends and evenings for events
Employment with Hot 8 Yoga is contingent upon successfully completing the Form I-9 and E-Verify employment eligibility verification process, which requires providing documentation proving your legal right to work in the United States.
