SUMMARY Responsible for pick-up and delivery of mail & bank deposits to & from POA facilities. A Part-time position working 3-1/2 hours per day, 5 days/week. Requires valid Arkansas driver’s license and clean driving record with proof of liability insurance. Requires lifting postal mail trays and bags.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
1. Distribute mail to all POA facilities.
2. Pick up deposits from all POA facilities and drop at local bank.
3. Pick up deposit slips from bank.
4. Pick-up assessment and utility payments at the locations that have drop boxes and return to POA
Administration for processing.
5. Prepare outgoing mail for pickup daily.
6. Any other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
7. Be familiar and adhere to POA Safety Procedures and Vehicle Assignment/Use form.
8. Required to drive POA vehicle.
9. Regular attendance is required.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE High School graduate or equivalent.
LANGUAGE SKILLS Ability to read a limited number of two- and three-syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers. Ability to print and speak simple sentences.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10’s and 100’s. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
REASONING ABILITY Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions. Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS Requires a valid Arkansas driver’s license and clean driving record with proof of liability insurance.
