What are the responsibilities and job description for the Banquet Porter/Server position at Hotel Ithaca?
The Hotel Ithaca has immediate opening for Banquet Servers/Banquet Set up. The Server provides table service to guests who are attending a special event in the ballroom/meeting spaces. The Banquet Porter(Set-up) staff sets up and Breaks down the banquet spaces. Service should be prompt and according to Service standards, with particular attention to detail in the delivery of an excellent product. Our customers are what we are about. One of the keys to a positive guest experience is a positive interaction with the service staff. It is essential that the staff provides exceptional service, going above and beyond to make our guests feel welcome and appreciated, leaving a lasting impression. The Banquet Server and Porter reports to the Banquet Captain and Catering Manager.
