Accounts Payable - Part Time

Job Summary

Hotel Nikko is looking for a dynamic individual to join our Accounting Team as a non-exempt Part-Time Accounts Payable. This position is responsible for full cycle accounts Payable Functions.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Coding invoices with correct accounts and cost centers.
• Matching invoices to purchase orders.
• Entering data and preparing weekly check runs.
• Maintaining A/P files.
• Review, code, and process all employee expense reports.
• Research problem invoices and communicate with vendors.
• Process monthly accruals.
• Other duties may include cashiering, assisting with customer inquiries, filing, and general administrative duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

• Excellent communication skills with external vendors, clients, and all levels of internal employees.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills with attention to detail while simultaneously handling several tasks and responsibilities.
• Must be able to work independently and make decisions with minimal supervision.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the hospitality/hotel industry.
• Minimum 2-3 years experience in accounting.
• Some college courses in Accounting are a plus.
• Must be proficient in MS Office - Word & Excel; knowledge of Opera, Micros, andaccounting software is a plus.

Salary Range: $30-$35/hour
