Description

The pay rate for this position is based on the projected range of $10 hourly rate plus tips.

JOB SUMMARY:

As the Elizabeth Street Cafe Barista, you will skillfully craft the perfect beverage with consistency. With a wide range of beverage offerings, attention to detail, and working quickly & accurately will help ensure your success. Serve customers with hospitality, kindness, and approachability, always explaining the menu as much or as little as the customer needs.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Prepare all menu items to the best of the employee’s ability, always striving to improve and serve an incredible product

• Keep a clean and tidy workspace, always cleaning in free time, even inside and behind items, following the cleaning checklists closely

• Be a team player and strive to work well with other employees

• Be organized, and able to think and act quickly and effectively while retaining self-composure.

• Works as a team with all personnel in order to maintain an effective atmosphere and an efficient food and beverage service

• Enthusiastically welcome each guest and be aware of tone, and body language at all times

• Can handle working under pressure and multi-tasking, Self-motivated and able to identify needs without direction.

• Works with others to keep all areas cleaned and stocked to the Company’s standards at all times

• Possess an understanding of the menu and food knowledge.
