What are the responsibilities and job description for the Luxury Leasing Agent position at Hotspot Apartment Rentals?
Hi there, we are HotSpot Rentals, a luxury apartment brokerage that works exclusively with quality, managed apartment companies in downtown Chicago. Our properties represent more than 70,000 units and we partner with them to find them high-quality qualified renters. As a Luxury Leasing agent, you work with clients who are looking to find luxury apartments in downtown Chicago.
We are currently looking for new team members who can start immediately. Next training will be held the week of November 4th, 2024. This is a 100% commission based and full time role.
Basic Job Duties of a Luxury Leasing Agent:
- Marketing of listings through traditional apartment rental platforms and social media.
- Responding to leads from customers looking for a new apartment (no cold calling).
- Phone, text and email communication with customers to discover their search needs.
- Online research and communication with properties to match the customer's needs.
- In-person tours/showings at properties with customers (some virtual tours).
- Maintaining customer relationship details using a custom CRM and inventory management system.

Job Requirements:
- Min 5 years sales, sales management or equivalent experience
- Great communication, problem-solving and organizational skills
- Extremely strong phone and writing skills
- Experience using a CRM and inventory database management system
- Strong network and/or desire to build a book of business
- Live within 30 minutes of downtown
- Own or have full-time access to a car, insurance, and computer
- Successful completion of the 1-week training
- A college education is highly preferred
Compensation and Benefits:
- Commission based.
- First-year agents average $65-75k in total compensation, with top performers making $140k .
- Performance bonus opportunity.
- Annual sales contest with paid company trip for meeting sales goals.
