What are the responsibilities and job description for the Business Development Specialist position at Hotwire Communications, LTD?
The Business Development Specialist will support the strategic sales planning process and create market insights and business opportunities through research and analysis.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintain and evaluate the database of prospects and existing clients to secure new business.
- Fuel the growth of the assigned market by securing Strategic Partnerships, assisting in market research, and supporting marketing efforts.
- Analyze data daily to determine high potential clients and make outbound calls to secure appointments for BDE’s, including email communication and interactions.
- Manage strategic planning for smaller size HOA and Condo’s for better planning outside of Hotwire’s current fiber market.
- Create and upload qualified sales proposals.
- Participates in targeted community sales & product strategy by remaining current on competitive offers, industry trends, and market activities.
- Identify and qualify Fision Home Residential opportunities, effectively positioning our suite of Fision Home solutions as a value add, providing properties with a technology-centric and concierge-focused competitive advantage in the marketplace.
- Generate new building opportunities through prospecting activities, including customer referrals, partner relationships, sales team collaboration, and cold calling.
- Create reporting to ensure RSS survey penetration goals are met.
- Other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
- Demonstrated ability and a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a sales support role.
- Exceptional aptitude with business correspondence, telephone skills, computer expertise including research and data analysis.
- High level of proficiency in Microsoft Suite applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Concur)
- Must be highly effective in two-way communication to include written, verbal and telephone skills
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Must be able to provide own transportation to various locations in organizational service area.
