What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sr Inventory System Analyst position at Hotwire Communications?
The Senior Inventory Systems Analyst will be responsible for supporting the automation of inventory planning for the warehouses in the Company’s ERP system. The incumbent will support the maintenance of the company’s inventory item catalog and provide support to warehouse staff with reporting tools.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Support the systems integration to new ERP system and maintain the inventory item catalog.
2. Ensure accurate and timely data entry of inventory transactional data and warehouse related documentation.
3. Ensure inventory/warehouse related policies and procedures are followed.
4. Consolidate warehouse material issuances and transfer logs for monthly submission to accounting before the established deadlines.
5. Review and audit packing slips, material transfer and issuance logs for accuracy and completeness.
6. Audit and maintain various weekly reports (CPE, Engineering Transfer, Forklift inspections, etc.)
7. Use reports and queries to analyze issues and proactively recommend process improvements for implementation.
8. Lead and prepare reporting for monthly, quarterly, and year-end inventories and cycle counts.
9. Participate in warehouse cycle count and annual inventories; maintain and organize the serialization of inventory items.
10. Maintain customer equipment return files.
11. Intake, review, and process packing slips/receiving reports.
12. Input drop-shipments and contractor receipts into new ERP system when launched.
13. Manage multiple time-sensitive requests and effectively interface with all levels of management while contributing and supporting enhancements to the overall process.
14. Other duties as required or assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
• Bachelor or Associate degree in business, logistics, systems engineering, supply chain management or relevant work experience
• At least 3 years’ experience with automated Inventory/Supply Chain ERP modules
• Exceptional aptitude with Excel and other research and data analysis programs
• Must be highly effective in two-way communication to include written, verbal and telephone skills
• Process improvement experience
• Experience generating reports and analyzing data to make recommendations
• Highly organized with a strong attention to detail
• Ability to evaluate financial and business indicators and translate data into actionable information to drive results
• Ability to engage and influence collaborative partnerships with internal and external stakeholders
• Must have active and clean non-restrictive driver’s license in assigned territory
• Must be able to travel to various warehouses throughout the organization
• Exposure to Salesforce, SiteTracker, a plus
• Microsoft Dynamics Experience a plus
