We are seeking a dedicated and dependable Dog Trainer to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who not only loves training dogs but also enjoys being actively involved in the daily operations of a high-end dog care facility.
What You’ll Do:
- Provide professional training for dogs, using positive reinforcement and effective training techniques
- Work closely with clients to assess training goals and implement customized training plans
- Run Meet & Greets for new clients
- Assist in overseeing the daily operations of the kennel, ensuring a clean, organized, and well-run facility
- Help with feeding, exercise routines, and general care of the dogs staying at the kennel
- Handle client communications regarding training progress, behavior updates, and general inquiries
- Ensure all dogs receive the highest level of care, comfort, and attention
- Collaborate with the team to improve training programs and kennel services
- Step in where needed—this is a hands-on role requiring flexibility and a proactive attitude
What We’re Looking For:
- A deep love for dogs and a passion for training and behavior management
- Experience in dog training, whether professionally or through personal work with dogs (certifications are a plus but not required)
- Dependable, hardworking, and excited to be part of a growing business
- Strong communication skills to interact with both dogs and their owners
- Ability to assist in all aspects of kennel operations, from dog care to facility upkeep
- Comfortable working outdoors and in a hands-on, active environment
- A team player who takes initiative and is always willing to help out wherever needed
