About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced, nurturing, and proactive Full-Time Nanny to care for two young children, a 6-month-old infant and a 3-year-old toddler, in Chicago. Mom works from home and is hands on, but needs help with school drop offs! The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood development and a minimum of 4 years of experience working as a nanny for a private family. This role requires flexibility, with travel to New York City for the summer.

Key Responsibilities:

– Provide attentive and developmentally appropriate care for a 6-month-old and 3-year-old.
– Plan and engage in educational and stimulating activities to foster learning and growth.
– Manage and coordinate the children’s daily routines, including nap schedules and activities.
– Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks for the children.
– Handle children’s laundry and maintain an organized environment in their play and sleeping areas.
– Track appointments, including pediatric visits and developmental check-ups.
– Ensure the children’s safety and well-being at all times.
– Communicate regularly with the parents regarding milestones, activities, and any concerns.
– Flexibility to travel with the family to NYC during the summer months.

Qualifications:

– Fluent in English; bilingual candidates) are a plus.
– Minimum of 4 consecutive years of professional experience as a nanny for a private family.
– Strong understanding of childhood milestones, development, and early education.
– Montessori background or familiarity with gentle parenting techniques preferred.
– Higher education degree in early childhood education or related field is a plus.
– Ability to swim and ensure child safety during water activities.
– Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record a must
– Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
– Proactive, adaptable, and able to anticipate the needs of the children and family.
– Previous experience traveling with a family preferred (references are a must)

Compensation and Benefits:

– Salary: $35per hour ($75,000/80,000 per year overtime.)
– Benefits: Full benefits package, including:

• Guaranteed Hours (Full-time, 40 hours per week, plus overtime).
• PTO: Paid time off, including two weeks of vacation.
• Holidays Off.
• Health Insurance Stipend of up to $400 per month ($4,800)

– Live-out position in Chicago, with accommodations provided when traveling.
– Travel required to New York City during the summer.
