Summary: I am seeking a nanny for my two children, ages two and eight months, in Lyons, IL. The nanny would be needed from April 7th to May 30th, 7 am to 3 pm, Monday through Friday. The nanny will be off April 18th, Good Friday, and Memorial Day. Pay is from $20 to $22 an hour, depending on experience.
Responsibilities:
- Provide attentive and nurturing care for children, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Engage children in age-appropriate activities, fostering their development and learning.
- Prepare nutritious meals and snacks, accommodating dietary needs.
- Maintain a clean and organized household environment, including laundry and tidying up.
- Assist with educational activities, promoting a positive learning atmosphere.
- Administer first aid when necessary and communicate effectively with parents regarding children's progress and needs.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in childcare, including nannying and infant & toddler care
- Strong skills in caregiving
- Certification in First Aid and CPR preferred
- Ability to perform cleaning and meal preparation tasks
- Background in daycare or preschool settings is advantageous
