Essential job Description
- Render trauma-informed direct assistance to victims of domestic abuse, including support, crisis mediation, safety planning, information, and referrals on the helpline,
- Implement follow-up services to clients as required
- Respond to callers accessing 24-hour hotline and render services
- Manage client files, agency files, statistics, forms, and other record-keeping as needed
- Perform all paperwork and register it into the client records database punctually
- adhere to agency policies and work rules

- Assist with protective/restraining orders and other court matters
- Arrange for emergency medical or law enforcement services as needed
- Evaluate immediate crisis needs of clients and address them appropriately
- Manage incoming calls and walk-ins and complete necessary documentation
- Educate clients about the dynamics of domestic violence and sexual assault and the options/resources available
- Engage in staff meetings, case conferences, and other meetings as needed
- Facilitate support groups as needed
- Fulfill other duties as assigned by Programs Director
