What are the responsibilities and job description for the Substance Abuse Clinician Master’s Level position at House of Hope Inc?
House of Hope, a nonprofit organization, is seeking an experienced Master’s Level Clinician to join our team! As a Master’s Level Clinician, you must be knowledgeable in regard to individuals with both substance abuse and mental health illness
Experience, Knowledge, and Skills:
· 60-hour Master’s degree (Social Work, Psychology, Counseling) required.
· Two (2) years of experience working in the field of addition and or mental health required.
· Experience working with the substance abuse population preferred.
· Ability to positively interact with individuals and facilitate groups.
· Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills.
· Strong organizational skills.
· Computer literate.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement treatment plans and treatment plan updates with clients.
- Timely completion of Biopsychosocial with clients.
- Provide education and orientation to clients.
- Facilitate counseling groups.
- Provide crisis intervention.
- Instrumental in the treatment, transition, and discharge/aftercare planning of clients.
- Provide appropriate chart documentation utilizing industry accepted standards while following company policy and procedures.
