We are looking for a motivated and patient HR Assistant to support our training and orientation coordination. This entry-level position requires strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with multiple departments to ensure compliance with training guidelines and HR polices. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to facilitating smooth training sessions, assisting with new hire onboarding, and ensuring the accuracy and confidentiality of all employee documentation. This position requires mid-shift hours, which may vary from week to week. The candidate must be flexible and agree to assist both day and night shifts as needed.
Requirements:Job Title: HR Assistant (Entry-Level)
- Coordinate and support training sessions and new hire onboarding.
- Maintain personnel files, ensuring all documentation is accurate and personal identifiable information (PII) is kept confidential.
- Assist with the implementation of HR policies, procedures, and processes.
- Track and document FMLA (Family Leave of Absence), STD (Short-Term Disability), LOA (Leave of Absence), and PTO (Paid Time Off).
- Maintain and update various logs, including Locker Log and Parking Logs.
- Order production gear, such as boots and maintenance uniforms, as needed.
- Assist in managing corrective actions and attendance write-ups.
- Keep track of daily absenteeism and staffing budget.
- Learn and utilize ADP Vantage, Compliance, and MYADP systems for HR processes.
Job Skills:
- Proficient in using the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), with a particular expertise in Microsoft Teams.
- Candidate must be excellent with technology, as training sessions require significant technical input.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- High attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple tasks.
