Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Feed Mill Operations Specialist to join our team at House of Raeford Farms. As a key member of our feed manufacturing process, you will be responsible for ensuring that all company guidelines on quality and safety are met, as well as adhering to state and federal regulations.
In this role, you will oversee and maintain all automation in the feed manufacturing process, working closely with dispatch to meet feed requirements and schedule production accordingly. You will also be responsible for conducting daily inventories and sampling procedures in accordance with company protocol.
Key Responsibilities:
- Batching and pelleting feed to meet quality and safety standards
- Maintaining all automation in the feed manufacturing process
- Working with dispatch to meet feed requirements and schedule production
- Conducting daily inventories and sampling procedures
- Operating a Forklift (training provided)
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent required
- Knowledge of feed manufacturing equipment operation desired but not required
- Practical computer skills and good math skills
- Familiarity with switches, breakers, and some maintenance skills
- Good attendance record
- Ability to work weekends, nights, and holidays
