Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Under the general supervision of Director of Development (DoD) will manage all areas of Social Media for House of Ruth Maryland (HRM).
- With oversight of DoD, develop and execute HRM Social Media Calendar.
- In coordination with Social Enterprise (SE) Manager and DoD, develop and execute Ruth’s Closet (RC) Social Media and email calendar.
- Stay up-to-date with best practices and make recommendations for continual improvement. Make recommendations for 2025 social media calendar based on 2024 results & best practices.
- Establish metrics, track and report on social media, and Google analytics monthly to DoD and quarterly to Leadership team.
- Create content including copy and graphics utilizing up-to-date-knowledge of HRM programs, activities, areas of focus, strategic direction, and financial goals to execute the Social Media calendar professionally and on time.
- Manage HRM staff marketing request form for print and digital marketing materials.
- Establish project timelines in coordination with program requesting.
- Create and complete requests in timely manner in communication with program requesting.
- With oversight of the DoD, design quarterly Houseline digital publication. Work with Associate DoD on copy and content.
- Record and create quarterly “Inside the House” videos showcasing HRM programs and employees.
- Create project timelines and budgets to successfully fulfill marketing requests submitted by HRM staff primarily via the marketing request form.
- Design three Direct Mail appeals - Spring (SAAM), Fall (DVAM), EOY under direction of DoD.
- Is responsible for the creation and timely management of all HRM emails including according to established calendar.
- Establish RC email calendar in coordination with SE Manager and DoD.
- Responsible for gathering content (language and graphics from DoD, and Director Team) in timely manner for approval and meeting calendar schedule.
- Provide quarterly reporting of all emails. Meet with DoD for review prior to reporting to leadership team
- Make recommendations for Email calendars based on 2024 results & best practices.
- Provide support to external agency hired to redesign website in 2025. Level of involvement will be contingent on prior WordPress website design experience.
- Provide ongoing updates to HRM web pages, replacing text, files, photos, etc. Make suggestions to existing pages for easier navigation.
- Provide positive customer service to meet the needs of internal and external customers, ensuring ongoing and open communication.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of HRM programs, activities, focus areas, strategic direction and financial situation to inform print and website information, volunteer projects/needs and marketing materials.

Experience, Education, Certifications/Licenses
- 3 years of Marketing experience demonstrating increased responsibility handling a wide range or projects and proven project management skills preferably in a non-profit environment.
- BA/BS Degree in Graphic Design or similar preferred.
- Understanding of creative development.
- Demonstrated Graphic design skills through sharing of work portfolio.
- Experience in creating engaging social media content and managing multiple social media platforms including but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, and Instagram.
- Video creation and editing experience preferred.
- Working knowledge and experience using content management systems, social media management, and related web applications.
- Excellent demonstrated written, and verbal communication
- Experience in WordPress, Active Campaign, Social Pilot and Adobe preferred.
- Ability to understand intimate partner violence and how it affects the client population.
- Experience in working successfully across departments/teams to achieve objectives.
- Must be flexible, able to identify and resolve problems, manage vendors and maximize the work effort of others, and successfully manage competing priorities.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check.

Salary : $60,000 - $65,000
