Position Overview:
We are seeking a talented Social Media Manager and Content Creator to develop, curate, and design engaging content that aligns with our brand’s vision. This role is perfect for someone who stays ahead of social media trends, has a keen eye for aesthetics, and understands how to build and engage online audiences. The part-time position requires 10-20 hours per week, with hourly compensation. This is an on-site role—candidates must be available to work at our physical location.
Key Responsibilities:
Content Creation – Develop high-quality, visually appealing content for Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Pinterest, and X (formerly Twitter) while maintaining brand consistency.
Graphic & Video Design – Create compelling graphics, images, and short-form videos to drive engagement and enhance marketing efforts.
Copywriting – Craft engaging, on-brand captions, post descriptions, and promotional copy tailored to various platforms.
Community Engagement – Actively interact with followers, respond to comments and direct messages, and foster a positive and interactive online presence.
Trend & Strategy Monitoring – Stay up to date with the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices, providing recommendations for innovative content strategies.
Campaign & Event Support – Collaborate on marketing campaigns, product launches, and special promotions. Some evening and weekend availability may be required for events.
Analytics & SEO Optimization – Track content performance through analytics tools, provide insights to optimize engagement and reach, and implement basic SEO strategies to enhance content discoverability.
Qualifications & Skills:
✔ Experience – Minimum 2 years in social media marketing, content creation, or a related role. A portfolio showcasing social media work is required.
✔ Platform Expertise – Strong understanding of major social media platforms, algorithms, and analytics tools.
✔ Design & Editing Proficiency – Experience with graphic design and video editing tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Final Cut Pro, or similar software.
✔ Strong Writing Skills – Ability to craft compelling, error-free captions, descriptions, and content tailored to different audiences.
