What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pottery Production position at House of Troy?
Come work in our Pottery department to produce beautiful lamps. Our Pottery lamps are glazed by hand and reduction fired in our kiln.
*Work with Liquid slip for pouring in molds to a very precise standard
*Putting together plaster molds and strapping down
*Using a very high torque potter's wheel and other tools
Qualifications:
*Good basic math skills
*Must be able to lift and carry 50 pounds with no problems
*Must have a high attention to detail
Preferred Skills:
*Capable of standing 10 hours in a day to do the job
*Capable of Multi-tasking, working with timing of several items at once
*Can follow instruction given to them either verbally or in writing
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
