Job Title: Housekeeper
Location: New York City (West Village)
Duration: 5 Days starting ASAP (ideally tomorrow 1/8/24)
Contract Period: January 8th - January 12th
Hours:
- Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Compensation: $40-50 per hour
Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced housekeeper to fill a temporary position for a duration of 5 days. The role will require the candidate to work closely with the client's additional housekeepers. The client is visiting their home in New York City (West Village) from London.
Responsibilities:
- Work alongside the executive housekeeper and other household staff.
- Primary focus will be mostly washing and pressing linens downstairs.
- Keep everything organized.
- Proficient in maintaining a Kosher home and kitchen, with extensive knowledge of Kosher requirements.
- Assist in serving lunch and ensuring all Kosher dietary restrictions are adhered to.
- Manage daily housekeeping tasks, including bedding changes, vacuuming, ironing, and steaming.
- Coordinate with executive housekeeper to ensure smooth operations of the household.
- Demonstrate the ability to work independently and efficiently without constant supervision.
- Maintain the highest level of discretion and professionalism, especially when dealing with high-net-worth individuals.
- Understand the unique needs of an ultra-high-net-worth family.
Additional Information:
- The family spends approximately three months a year in their New York City residence.
- This temporary position has the potential to lead to future contract opportunities.
- The role is a live-out position.
- The working hours are from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM Monday through Friday.
