We are seeking a friendly and motivated individual to join our team as a part-time Leasing Consultant. Ideally, we’re looking for someone who can also assist with light maintenance tasks, making this a versatile and rewarding role.

Job Responsibilities
Leasing Consultant Duties:
- Greeting, qualifying, showing, and closing prospective residents.
- Maintaining leasing records, including traffic reports and leasing activity.
- Processing rental applications and notifying applicants of approval or denial.
- Following up on all rental inquiries.
- Preparing move-in packages and lease paperwork.
- Conducting unit walkthroughs to ensure readiness for move-in.
- Participating in property inspections (move-in, move-out, and quarterly).
- Assisting with marketing efforts for the community.
- Resolving resident complaints and addressing issues promptly and professionally.
Optional Maintenance Helper Duties (if applicable):
- Assisting with basic maintenance tasks such as light repairs, turnovers, and property upkeep.
- Cleaning and preparing units for showings or new tenants.
- Supporting the maintenance team with minor projects as needed.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
- Excellent computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to self-direct and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
- Basic knowledge of tools and maintenance (preferred but not required for leasing-only candidates).
Work Schedule
- Time Blocks: Must be able to work in at least 4-hour blocks.
- Normal Hours: 8 AM – 5 PM, Monday – Friday.
- Flexibility: Evenings and weekends required as needed, especially during peak leasing seasons.
- Mandatory Availability During Blackout Dates: Due to the high demand for staff during apartment turnover, all employees must be available to work during the following blackout periods: May 25 - June 1, June 25 - July 1, July 25 - August 1
Compensation
- Starting pay: $18–$20/hour, depending on experience.
