Located in Erie, PA, Housing and Neighborhood Development Service (HANDS) is a mission based entrepreneurial non-profit agency dedicated to providing affordable and appropriate housing for persons who are in need of safe and affordable housing.
We are seeking a part-time (20-30 hours per week) Receptionist. Hours may vary according to the needs of the department but will be between 8am and 5pm Monday through Friday.
The Receptionist's main responsibility will be answering the phone, applying tenant rent payments to their accounts, and greeting visitors, vendors, clients, and applicants. The Receptionist is responsible for performing support to the Property Management Staff, assuring that all tasks assigned are completed in a neat, accurate, and timely manner.
Duties:
- Answer a high volume of calls in a pleasant and professional manner.
- Manages the lobby area. Greets and directs all visitors, including vendors, clients, and applicants.
- Handles customer questions and concerns to families seeking housing information.
- Generates computer work order maintenance requests.
- Accepts tenant rent payments and applies to their account appropriately.
- Responsible for processing outgoing mail.
- Performs other related duties as may be assigned.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $12.00 - $12.50 per hour
