Maintenance Supervisor
We have an opening for a hard-working person to lead our team of Maintenance Technicians at The Housing Authority for LaSalle County.

The right candidate will possess skills in some or all of the following :
Knowledge of :
- Property / apartment maintenance practices and procedures
- Technical building equipment and the repair and maintenance of building systems
- Workplace safety, lifting and handling procedures
- Principles and practices of basic electrical, plumbing, painting, appliance, heating, cooling and carpentry repairs and grounds maintenance
- Techniques for dealing with a variety of individuals from various socioeconomic, cultural and ethnic backgrounds, in person and over the telephone
- Modern office procedures, office equipment and computer applications
Ability to :
MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS Any combination of the following experience and education that would likely provide the required knowledge and abilities is qualifying. Must possess a valid driver's license and be able to be insured for operating HALC owned vehicles and / or provide personal transportation as needed to perform duties.
We are offering Full Time employment, Monday-Friday, 8 : 00 AM-4 : 30 PM with excellent benefits.
On call after hours will be required on a rotational basis.
Applicants will be screened with a background check, drug screen, and driving history report.
A valid Drivers License is required for this position.
