Housing Manager
JOB SUMMARY
This is a critical position providing management and oversight for Housing Authority properties within Monroe County. This position will ensure the proper application and operations of property management, the HOME and HUD policies, local, state, and federal regulations.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Must be able to perform the following tasks;
- Process annual recertification’s for residents per HUD regulations
- Processing documentation for initiation of evictions
- Process transfers of residents when needed
- Delivers notices to residents concerning rent, resident organization meetings, and other Housing Authority activities and services
- Receive rent monies; issuing receipts; process and record payments
REQUIREMENTS
- Strong organization skills
- Experience with Microsoft Office
- Ability to calculate tenant rents based on policies and procedures
- Ability to travel
- Ability to greet and interact with the public and other employees in a courteous and professional manner
