General Position Description
Housing Consortium of the East Bay (HCEB) is a non-profit organization established in 1996 to create inclusive communities through affordable housing for people living with developmental disabilities in Alameda and Contra Costa Counties. Essential Job Functions
- Coordinate services for adults with developmental disabilities living in a multi-family supportive housing property in Alameda, CA
- Maintain regular contact with other tenant support staff. Address any issues arising from those conversations, in conjunction with property management staff
- Facilitate regular community meetings at each property
- Support residents who become delinquent in rent payments or receive other lease warnings from property management
- Support residents and their support staff in submitting maintenance work orders to property management
- Participate in regular check in property management staff to review Resident red flags
- Community-building activities
- Unmet service needs
- Rent delinquencies
Requirements
- History of progressively responsible related work experience, preferably in a non-profit organization
- Experience working with adults with disabilities
- Excellent PC skills, with a working knowledge of MS Excel and MS Word
- Candidates need not have all the preferred skills and experience to apply
