Job Overview
Housing for Health OC (HHOC) is a nonprofit organization that serves as an administrative hub for a network of homeless service providers. HHOC is contracted with CalOptima Health and Kaiser Permanente for services under the CalAIM initiative. These services include housing navigation, housing deposits, housing sustainability and tenancy, day habilitation, short term post hospitalization, and enhanced care management. HHOC is recruiting for an hourly Program Assistant. The position is part-time, hourly, up to 30 hours per week and will work remotely. Our business is constantly growing and developing, and this role offers immediate opportunity to play a part in that growth.
Duties
- Assist in the planning, execution, and evaluation of programs and projects.
- -Developing and maintaining documents/ forms
- Establishing a working relationship with our multiple MCPs (Managed Care Providers)
- Completion of tasks requested by our MCPs ahead of due dates
- Staying current with policies and procedures
- Creating tools and support items for HHOC agencies
- Managing and reminding HHOC agencies of important due dates
- On boarding new Case Managers & employees (training, login creation, providing tools)
- Assisting and supporting current agency Case Managers and employees
- Creating content and agendas for company lead meetings
- Attending meetings and providing notes and feedback
- Provide administrative support including scheduling meetings, maintaining records, and managing correspondence.
